Judging process

The MRS Awards Panel is chaired by Professor Michael Thomas and comprises leading researchers from agencies, client organisations and academia.

Panel members with a vested interest in any submission will not be involved in judging that Award.

Your entry will be judged on the quality of the Paper/Synopsis and Summary (see Submission format and Awards criteria for each award) you supply.

Judging will take place during August/September and candidates will be informed shortly afterwards whether or not they have been shortlisted.

The judges’ decisions are final and the Panel will not enter into correspondence about them.

The winners will be announced, and the awards presented, at the Research Awards Dinner and Ceremony in London on 8 December.

Notes

• The MRS/BIG Business-to-Business Research Award is judged separately and all applications will be forwarded to the BIG Panel who will contact their shortlisted candidates direct.
• The MRS/ASC Technology Effectiveness Award is administered and judged by the ASC - www.asc.org.uk
• The IJMR Collaborative Research Award is judged separately by the IJMR Panel.
