How living and working abroad differs from working in the UK

Liz Norman’s first role in market research was working for IBM looking at whether PC’s had a future! Needless to say she doesn’t qualify for R-Net membership. Liz started ENI in 1989, specialising in finding researchers the roles they were not only best suited to but also most interested in. Still actively involved in the recruitment of market researchers, it’s the diversity of roles within the industry and the personalities that go with it that keeps her interested and passionate about her job. In 1999 ENI set up in Australia to explore both opportunities in Asia and Australia, today that office has moved to China.

Liz has travelled and worked both in Australia and in various Asian countries, and in this session she invites a selection of researchers she’s met along the way to share their experiences of the pros and cons of working internationally with R-Net.

The event starts at 6.30pm and will be followed by drinks and a chance to mingle with the speakers.

R-Net events are free for researchers aged under 30 or with less than five years’ experience.
