Overview:

Prepare for an interactive session where our speakers from incling will bust some myths, show you what it’s actually like to take part in research (you’ll be surprised what you don’t think about day to day) and share their key tips for generating better insight through better engagement.

Remember, consumers are for life, not just for your survey!

A brave new world: How the research landscape is shifting and adapting to a more consumer-focused world, and changing the way we treat participants

Myth busting: Challenging some of the assumptions we make about research participants. Brought to life with real case studies, and presenting an alternative way of thinking about and structuring your research.

The myths incling will be challenging include:

  • Respondents are research subjects
  • Some respondents are naturally creative, others are not
  • You do not need to share your research objectives with respondents
  • We can get participants to focus on one specific problem
  • We can ask participants to share their ideas at the end of the discussion/survey
  • The environment that we do research in is less important than the questions we ask

Speakers:

Louise Hitchen: Co-founder of incling

Juliet Pascall: Co-founder of incling
