Fast Track Scheme

The Fast Track Scheme is aimed at individuals with at least seven years' experience at a senior level in the profession who wish to become Full Members on the basis of their career profile. It is an alternative to the traditional qualifications-based route.

NB Please note that, despite its name, the Fast Track Scheme may take four to five months from receipt of the application depending on the type of candidate, the assessment route selected and the availability of assessors. By way of comparison, other routes to Full Membership take up to three years to complete.

Candidates evidence comprises two elements:

Submission of all of the following:
- Completed registration form providing examples of relevant experience which meets the twelve benchmark standards for Full Membership (PDF 28KB, PDF Help)
- Curriculum vitae
- Current job description and organisation chart
- Evidence of any degrees, relevant qualifications or membership of other relevant professional bodies
- Letters of support from two referees, one of whom must be a Full Member
Plus
One of the following:

Attendance at an oral viva
A paper submitted successfully for the MRS Annual Conference, the International Journal of Market Research or a Conference or Journal of equivalent rigour and standing
Written business research project
