MRS Field Conference 2005


The MRS Field Conference 2005 took place in July in Birmingham. The Conference was aimed at anyone who wants to meet with colleagues in the industry, engage in discussions and help shape the future of field. The sessions included:

Day One:

  • Mary Mulcahey (Amarach Consulting): A case study: The way forward: how pay affects quality control, recruitment and retention

  • Michael Pollock (UK Fieldwork Services): Facing and embracing technology
  • Workshops throughout the day
  • R-Net North event - Bridging the gap: understanding research roles

Day Two:

  • Penny Steele (FML) and Debrah Harding (MRS): Changes to the IQCS, ISO quality standard and MRS Code and how these affect field
  • Jane A’Court (IPSOS): Reaping the field and harvesting invaluable experience
  • Marian Hough (Consultant) Training for field
