Rolled up holiday pay illegal says European Court

On 1 March 2006 the European Court of Justice, ruling on two cases from English courts, found that rolled up holiday pay schemes breach the Working Time directive. The cases will now return to the English courts for a final decision. MRS has issued a report which outlines the basis of the decision and its possible impact.
