A number of guidelines specific to field research have been produced either by MRS or other related bodies:

Draft Health and Safety Guidelines for Face to Face Interviewers (published by the Interviewer Quality Control Scheme, IQCS)
Code of Practice for Conducting Market Research in Town Centres
MRS Code of Conduct and supporting guidelines
The Food Standards Agency issues best practice guidelines on conducting food and drink product testing (www.food.gov.uk/cleanup).
Research Decisions: A guide to buying fieldwork services (July 2006): the buyer's view, the costs, the technologies, the rules and regulations, the skills set.
