General Insurance Market Research Association (GIMRA)

GIMRA is a special interest group within the Association of Users of Research Agencies (AURA).

From a base of seven founding companies membership has grown quickly and members now account for more than 95% of general UK insurance premiums.

GIMRA has six main objectives:

To communicate and promote the value of market research within the general insurance industry.
To optimise the value of research results and to collaborate on market research projects to avoid duplication.
To be a forum for exchange of information and expertise on market research and intelligence.
To be a forum for external agency presentations and assessment.
To liaise with financial research organisations including industry bodies.
To encourage and facilitate training and development.
