Fielding Questions: How to get the best out of fieldwork and what it's like to work on this aspect of research

Two guest speakers took part in this event:

Emma Beech (External Field Director) and colleague Michael Simms, both of TNS, gave a valuable insight into what really goes on behind the scenes in fieldwork and what sort of skills you need/can acquire in this line of work. Their presentation included a video following a questionnaire from the office out to the field and back again.
R-Netters then discussed in groups the implications of what they’d learned and how they might apply them to their workplace.
