CIM Exemption Route

MRS offers an Exemption Route to the MRS Advanced Certificate for people who have previously successfully completed the *Level 6 Marketing & Research Information (MR&I) module of the ‘old’ CIM Professional Diploma in Marketing.

If you have successfully been awarded the MR&I module, a little extra study can help you achieve a full qualification in market and social research practice. Successful holders of the Level 6 MR&I candidates need not complete a second course of study.

There are two components of assessment for the MRS Advanced Certificate: a 3500-word assignment and an examination. Usually, candidates must complete both components. However, holders of the Level 6 MR&I Module only need to complete one additional piece of assessed work.

If you completed the Level 6 MR&I module by assignment, you need to take the MRS Advanced Certificate examination.
If you completed the Level 6 MR&I module by examination, you need to complete the MRS Advanced Certificate Integrated Assignment.

MRS offers existing holders of the Level 6 MR&I module the opportunity to register directly with MRS for the assessment for the Advanced Certificate.

*Please note that CIM no longer offers the MR&I module, this exemption route is therefore applicable only to those who obtained the module prior to its withdrawal in June 2010.
