Content & Assessment

The Level 2 Certificate in Market & Social Research comprises the following 3 units:

  • Unit 1: Introduction to Market Research
  • Unit 2: Designing a research project: the tools of Market Research
  • Unit 3: Completing a research project

The assessment of all three units is integrated into a 1 hour online examination, containing 40 multiple-choice questions. Completion of the Level 2 Certificate is estimated to require 45 - 60 hours of study.

On completion of the online course MRS Market Research - An Introduction, candidates can elect to take the online, City & Guilds accredited, examination. Candidates can choose to take the exam at either the offices of MRS or at any of City & Guilds’ accredited centres. To take the exam at MRS, candidates will need to register direct with MRS. To take the exam at an accredited centre, MRS can provide details of your local centre.

The cost of exam registration is £110 plus VAT through MRS.
