The Professional Development Scheme

The Professional Development Scheme (PDS) is a working partnership between employers and MRS, which enables employees to progress through MRS qualifications, whilst following their company's own training programme in market and/or social research. The PDS involves MRS accreditation of the company's in-house training. By the end of the three-year PDS, successful participants have built a strong professional foundation and are eligible for Full membership of MRS.

It is important to note that only research organisations which have undergone a strict accreditation procedure are eligible to offer the MRS PDS. Therefore, if you are moving to a new employer, it is important to find out if they offer the PDS.
