NLP for Excellence in Elicitation

Why you should attend

Interviewing skills are at the heart of our art. The quality of information respondents give us is the core material from which we derive crucial understanding and insight.

During this one-day workshop we deconstruct the interviewing skills of some of the UK’s best moderators, put our own styles into context, and stretch our skills in practice.

By the end of the workshop you will:

  • Have shared the beliefs that shape top moderators’ performance
  • Have placed your styles of moderating in the wider context of other great practitioners’ styles
  • Have learned to access personal states of excellence for yourself
  • Have stretched yourself by using different and effective interviewing techniques and perspectives
  • Have seized new distinctions that heighten your awareness of what’s going on for yourself and respondents
  • Know how NLP modelling works and gained insight into how you can benefit from it

Who will benefit?

Qualitative researchers of all degrees of skills and commitment to the craft of moderation will learn something new and useful at this workshop.

Course leader

Tina Berry

Tina, a researcher and planner, is principal of The Planning Shop and an NLP Master and Trainer. NLP has inspired the development of a number of robust yet flexible research skills and techniques (mainly qualitative) and Tina uses NLP to bring out the best in the brands, people and teams with whom she works.

She is sharply focused on transferring NLP skills to fellow professionals through MRS, as well as directly to research agencies, consultancies and client companies.

She recently completed a project modelling the skills of excellent moderators in the UK and has been passing on the findings at MRS and QRCA conferences at home and abroad.
