Objective
This course enables you to:
- identify and understand key issues for commercial and social research targeting ethnic communities in the UK.
Learning outcomes
By the end of the course, delegates should have an understanding of:
- the demographic data needed to identify target groups
- key considerations when starting to research different communities
- the potential barriers to researching different communities and how to overcome these
- key issues in ethnic minority research such as:
- sampling
- language
- methodologies
- moderation
- questionnaire design
This course will explore qualitative and quantitative aspects, as well as clientside perspectives, through presentations and case studies.
