MRS statement on the EU referendum result

The result of the EU referendum has no impact on our obligations as a profession to maintain the highest standards as outlined in the MRS Code of Conduct and other MRS guidelines.

In particular, there will be no exemption from meeting the standards of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) – as a sector we must be ready to comply with this if we are to continue to do business with Europe and other parts of the world.
