MRS has introduced a new Networking Trail for delegates at its Annual Conference, Impact 2020. The flagship event, which takes place in London from 10-11 March, aims to set a new agenda for the research world to do more than just survive, but capitalise, and prove that in an era of uncertainty, evidence still matters.

Over the two days, delegates will have the opportunity to engage with representatives from nine specialist networks active in the sector:

  • &more – the MRS network for researchers under 30
  • ASC – the Association for Survey Computing
  • AMSR – the Archive of Market & Social Research
  • AQR – the Association for Qualitative Researchers
  • ICG – the Independent Consultants Group
  • MRBA – the Market Research Benevolent Association
  • MRSpride – the MRS network for LGBTQ+ researchers and allies
  • Research Network – for longstanding researchers
  • WiRe – for Women in Research

“The Networking Trail is something new and fun for Impact 2020,” says CEO of MRS Jane Frost CBE. “We hope it facilitates some face-to-face conversations amongst people who haven’t met before and increases awareness about all the specialist groups doing great work in the sector.”
