MRS has some exciting developments planned for Impact 2020, next year’s Annual Conference, including a link-up with The Research Club who will apply their global networking expertise to the official conference party.

“Our delegates always say we can’t be beaten for the quality of our content,” says Jane Frost, CEO of MRS, “but having attended some of The Research Club’s excellent events in the past, I really feel they will add some extra sparkle to the conference experience.”

In addition to the conference party, the two organisations will also be working together to create a single Summer Party in 2020 that will be a must-attend date for anyone in the research sector looking to make new connections and catch-up with old friends.

“We’re really excited about this collaboration,” says Bob Qureshi, a founding partner of The Research Club. “I’ve been an MRS member for over 30 years and the networking events I’ve attended have been key to building business relationships and making some great friends.”

Jonathan Wheeler, another founding partner, says: “The Research Club’s mission has always been to bring people together. Working with MRS is an excellent opportunity to introduce our global contacts to the world’s leading research organisation and I know we’ll show the Impact 2020 delegates a good time.”

The Impact 2020 programme and further details about The Research Club’s associated event will be announced in November.

Before next year’s combined Summer Party you still have the chance to book your tickets for the MRS Summer Party on 25 July 2019 and The Research Club Summer Party on 1 August 2019.
