Market research is alive and kicking – consumer and B2B insights from two 2014 MRS Awards finalists

Overview:

New(ish) techniques such as social media monitoring and crowdsourcing may have changed the research and development (R&D) landscape but there is still plenty of room for great research to not only provide the evidence to make better business decisions but also be the catalyst to drive innovation within organisations and enrich the customer experience.

CIM London has teamed up with the Market Research Society to bring you two stellar examples of great research, both winners of the 2014 MRS Awards:

  • Winner of MRS Award New Consumer Insights – It’s not what you do, it’s the way that you do it: How sustainable research got eye-opening results for PepsiCo in understanding the emerging middle classes in Brazil – Fiona Blades, MESH.
  • Winner of MRS/BIG Award for Business-to-Business Research – Reputation management in a crisis – Annabel Wren, Millward Brown.
