An MRS Scotland event

Time: 6:15pm to 8:30pm

This is a unique opportunity for those based in Scotland to attend a re-presentation of this well-received conference paper, which was delivered earlier this year at an MRS conference in London, and which has now been specially adapted with a Scottish perspective. In a rapidly changing research environment, how should a thirty-year survey of British tourists be updated to meet the needs of the modern tourism industry?

The session will cover two areas:

  • Sharing some of the outputs from the surveys currently undertaken by Visit Scotland and the other National Tourist Boards.
  • Describing the plans to improve the monitoring of British tourists’ behaviour, with new methods to enhance the insights, increase efficiency and make the survey experience more enjoyable for respondents.

This is a not-to-be-missed opportunity to gain an inside perspective on a major long-running UK research survey and how it is being adapted for the future. Followed by fantastic networking drinks and buffet courtesy of Innis & Gunn.
