It’s wonderful when two things that you’re passionate about find a crossover, so I’m delighted that our flagship event in Northern England has found a home for the last few years at The Lowry arts centre in Salford, where I am a proud Trustee and NED.

Best of Impact brings together award-winning content from our Annual Conference for those who couldn’t make it down to London in March. The diverse programme features presentations on rediscovering empathy, bringing humanity back into the boardroom and a workshop with techniques that will quieten the busy mind – something I’m really looking forward to.

If you can’t make it along during the day, do come for a drink in the galleries afterwards, where we’ll be treated to a private view of the fascinating new ExtraORDINARY exhibition of everyday objects in contemporary art.

For those of you who are already focused on next year’s Annual Conference, the Call for Contributions will be going out soon, and I expect I’ll be wowed again by the dynamism and innovation in the sector.
