I’m so pleased with the response to our 70th anniversary theme, ‘Curiosity, Insight, Revolution’. It obviously resonates with many of you, and it’s very much the spirit that’s driving our Annual Conference, Impact 2016.

The programme is so good, my problem is trying to figure out what not to go and see. This year I feel as though I need Hermione’s Time-Turner more than ever!

I’m particularly excited to see Bill Bryson speak – not only a man whose books I have devoured eagerly over the years, but one who has brought ethnography to life for so many people.

Of course, with the recent publicity around the sale of mobile network EE, now will be an interesting time to hear from BT’s CEO Gavin Patterson. And I can personally guarantee that Unilever’s Stan Sthanunathan has never been short of an inspirational word!

I’m always keen to champion women in business and we have a plethora of inspirational female speakers, including Rabbi Baroness Julia Neuberger DBE who will be known to many of you for her Pause for Thought segments of BBC Radio 2.

We’ve got content about migration, data, sex and computers – surely something for the curious in all of us!

I look forward to seeing you there.
