The Accredited Masters
Prize is given to the
student who produces
the best research-based
dissertation as part of an
MRS Accredited Masters
Programme. The winner of the 2008 Prize is Dionisios Favatas for his dissertation entitled "An Application of the Theory of Planned Behaviour in a Social Marketing Context: Dubplate Drama and Youth Perceptions towards Violence".
What the judges said:
The panel thought the dissertation was a well argued, innovative, challenging and bold dissertation that applied sophisticated concepts and methods to important new areas of social marketing.
Dionisios is senior
strategist in
digital marketing
communications, working
globally with clients
such as T-Mobile, KPMG
and AOL, amongst many
others. He is a member of the American Marketing
Association and the Direct
Marketing Association, and
also recently completed his
MSc in Strategic Marketing.
