Big Brother spotlight at MRS conference - RESEARCH2003Date: 31 January 2003 Would your boss stand up to Big Brother-style scrutiny? Is there someone you would like to get out of the office for a while? Who do you think should be put under the spotlight? Now is your chance to nominate a participant for the RESEARCH2003 Big Brother equivalent - SKOPOS 'Reality Research.' In a newly-created forum, six researchers will receive a taste of their own medicine in the run up to RESEARCH2003. Confined to iBurbia, a unique London viewing facility, for one whole day under the constant surveillance of web cams, the selected participants will take part in a range of physical and mental tasks and be asked to give their thoughts on a host of industry issues. Streaming media and web hosting will be provided by FlyOnTheWall. With their every move captured by SKOPOS' technology, you can watch the drama as it unfolds at www.reality-research.com in the run up to Conference. Moreover, you will have the chance to decide who walks free early on and who stays for the duration by voting either online or on your mobile via SMS or WAP courtesy of SPSS. Edited highlights of the contestants' escapades will be shown throughout Conference on the Reality Research stand in the Exhibition Hall (stand 7). The ultimate winner will be voted for by delegates at RESEARCH2003. Commented Andy Dexter, Conference Programme Chairman, "Reality Research is a new addition to the Conference programme and one which is already generating lots of interest. Delegates at RESEARCH2003 will undoubtedly enjoy the mix of exciting and varied formats which this year will sit alongside the more formal presentations." To make your nominations, simply log onto www.reality-research.com by 7 February 2003. For more information on RESEARCH2003 or to book a ticket, please visit www.mrs.org.uk.
