At AI Powered Insights 2027 we’ll move beyond individual AI tools and experiments to explore how insight teams are redesigning research workflows, working with AI agents, connecting multiple data and insight sources and building increasingly AI-native insight ecosystems.

The Market Research Society

We want to hear from teams that are putting AI into practice at scale and systematically, using it to generate insight that would previously have been impossible. We’re interested in how organisations are addressing the difficult questions around quality, trust, expertise and the role of humans. Ultimately, we want to hear how AI-powered insight is helping organisations achieve better customer understanding and better business decisions.

We’re calling for real-world examples, honest lessons and practical approaches (including what didn't work).

Key topic areas

Agentic insight: How AI agents are transforming research workflows.

Connected insight ecosystems: Moving beyond isolated AI tools to connected systems that bring together research, behavioural, customer and other data sources to create continuous insight.

AI + traditional research methods: How researchers are systematically integrating AI into established qualitative and quantitative approaches.

Synthetic respondents and synthetic data: Share examples of where synthetic respondents and data augment or replace traditional research and how to validate outputs.

The AI-native insight team: How roles, skills, structures and career paths change when AI takes on more of the research workflow.

AI decision trees, frameworks and governance: Share practical frameworks for deciding when and how AI should be used in research and how to set guardrails.

Research quality in the age of AI: New approaches to detecting fraud, bias and hallucination, establishing provenance and validating AI-generated insight.

The AI-mediated consumer: Examining how AI is changing the way consumers search, discover, evaluate and choose and what this means for how we research and understand them.

Submission guidelines

If you have a case study or discussion point to share at this event, please submit via our online form by Friday 25th September.

Please let us know if you’d like to be considered for a case study, no slides panel session or in conversation with (interview style) session. All conference slots are 30 mins.

A quick note on our selection criteria:

We give priority to:

  • Real world examples, that include the ups and downs that others can learn from
  • Pioneering applications of AI
  • New and diverse voices in the field
  • MRS company partners

MRS is committed to equal gender representation on the conference platform and strives to achieve a minimum of 15% of speakers from ethnically diverse backgrounds.
