The MRS Certificate in Market Research (MRS Certificate) is designed to recognise the range of knowledge and understanding required to:
Studying for this qualification will enable you to gain vital knowledge of market research that is vital to help businesses and public sector organisations make viable and appropriate decisions.
All successful candidates are awarded the MRS Certificate in Market Research, providing recognition of the individual’s knowledge and understating of the basic principles and processes which underpin effective market Research.
The MRS Certificate requires candidates to undertake a training programme e.g. Foundation Course in Market Research and then successful pass an online multiple-choice examination.
Who's it for?
The learning outcomes and content of the Certificate in Market Research are grouped into 3 elements:

The assessment of all three units is integrated into a 1 hour online examination, containing 40 multiple-choice questions.
Candidates can choose to take the exam at either the offices of MRS or their own work location. To take the exam candidates are required to register with MRS.
How long will it take?
It is recommended you undertake 45 hours of study to prepare for assessment for the Certificate qualification.

Entry criteria
There are no minimum entry requirements for the MRS Certificate in Market Research.

Exam registration - £140 plus VAT.
Foundation course - £275 plus VAT.

MRS Accreditation
MRS accredited centres are required to demonstrate that they meet rigorous standards in their administration, provision and delivery of courses leading to MRS qualifications.
The following centres have been accredited to offer the MRS Certificate in Market Research as part of an under graduate or post graduate degree programme.
Group Registrations
Employers/Institutions wishing to offer access to the online training Market Research – An Introduction and/or the qualification Certificate in Market Research to groups of their employees/students can do so via an agreement with MRS.
