Exclusive for &more members, a free webinar to help you survive the current crisis and build a confident, thriving future.

The last few months have brought uncertainty and difficult circumstances for all, but young research professionals often face different challenges to their senior colleagues. For example, living far away from family, financial pressures, stressful flatmates and trying to establish a career and network when everyone is stuck at home. All these can make it hard to plan positively for the future.

In this first ever webinar from &more, MRS Fellow Paul Vittles will use his unique experiences as a research professional, mentor and trained counsellor to offer useful and useable advice to attendees.

Paul will be joined by a panel of &more members including Kirsty Arbuckle (Research Insight Analyst and a Wellbeing Champion, Macmillan), Maddison Andrews (Insight Executive, Smart Energy GB and &more Leadership Team) and Alex Wheatley (Director of Digital & Data Innovation, Kantar) to discuss their varied experiences of lockdown and share useful coping strategies.

Attendees are encouraged to submit questions to Paul and the panel throughout, to help us create a highly interactive webinar.

Webinar includes:

  • An overview of the key issues individuals and organisations are facing
  • Discussion with Paul and the panel on lockdown experiences and crucial coping strategies
  • Active Q&A session – attendees are encouraged to submit questions throughout
  • Takeaways – how to plan for an uplifting future

Please note: This webinar is for &more members only. &more is the MRS network for researchers under 30 or those new to the industry. If you are not already a member, you can join &more here.
