MRS launches innovative online training with Kogan Page


MRS has collaborated with leading independent business publisher, Kogan Page, to develop a new online training course offering practitioners the chance to develop their competence and skill set when working with statistics.

Launching today, Statistics for Research, uses a combination of video content and interactive activities to explore how statistics are used in research. The course explains key statistical concepts, demonstrates the importance of statistics for research, and helps participants to master important techniques like sampling and weighting.

Designed for flexible learning, the course can be completed from a PC, tablet or mobile phone and is ideal for practitioners new to working with statistics, as a refresher or in preparation for the MRS Advanced Certificate in Market and Social Research Practice.

The MRS-accredited course is worth six CPD credits and, once completed, will earn the user a certificate of continuing professional development from the MRS and Kogan Page.
