This year The Research Network is celebrating its 20th anniversary.

Over that time we have developed a lively community of research professionals representing a wide range of disciplines from social, market and media insights through to data analytics.

Working relationships often turn into lifelong friendships but it can be difficult to find opportunities to stay in touch - and doesn’t time just fly by? The Network organises quarterly lunches to facilitate social and professional communication for its members and subsidises them to keep costs down for members. In addition, Zoom evening meetings are held to cover general interest topics and provide further opportunities to stay connected.

The Research Network has close links with other professional research bodies such as the MRS, MRBA and AMSR. We have organised and run the Oral History Project that recognises the professional contribution that various individuals have made to the success of the research industry. These materials are stored in the form of audio interviews and biographies and are popular both with academics and those entering the research business. Details of these and other initiatives can be found on our regularly updated website and through twice-yearly newsletters.
