The upcoming MRS Data Analytics and Insight Conference will explore how to improve the breadth, depth, impact and value of customer and consumer insight by using data science methodologies.

It will showcase how companies are bridging the gap between traditional insight techniques and data driven techniques with some wonderfully, innovative hybrid approaches. It will also discuss the future of AI powered insight and how the industry is approaching issues around biases, ethics and guidelines.

Do you have an insight case study or thought piece based around AI, deep learning, neural networks, NLP, data fusion and advanced segmentation techniques? Can you share examples of data mining with unstructured data? Do you have experience of successfully combining customer data with market research data to produce measurable impact? Are you delivering accurate predictive and prescriptive insights that are creating new opportunities? If so please send us your suggestions for a:

  • 25 min case study – Present new research where innovative methodologies have been used, outcomes have been notable and the audience will be left excited by your story
  • No slides panel debate – You may wish to participate in a discussion on a particular topic or curate the whole session. Please suggest topics which will generate a stimulating discussion where a range of viewpoints can be represented
  • Round table discussion – Suggest and lead a 30 min discussion on a burning industry issue with a table of delegates. We’re looking for topics with broad appeal where delegates will welcome the opportunity to discuss strategies and solutions with industry colleagues

A quick note on our selection criteria:

With just 12 sessions available we give priority to client side presenters / co-presenters, new hot-off-the-press research and projects using pioneering research techniques.

If you have a recent research project that you’d like to showcase or a conference session idea please submit a brief synopsis (approx. 200-400 words) for consideration by Monday 21 October to conference@mrs.org.uk.
