What’s better than socialising, face to face events and a summer of sport?

All these things combined together in a free &more event! This year, England hosts The 2022 UEFA European Women’s Football Championship. What does that mean for &more? Well, the network exists to bring young researchers together and showcase their talents. Add in a prestigious organisation like The FA and you’ve got all the ingredients for an inspirational and ambitious event – the &more Challenge.

The Challenge will bring &more members together to tackle a specially created brief from MRS member The FA, based on this year’s UEFA Women’s EUROs. This will be the biggest women’s sporting event in Europe and an unprecedented opportunity to inspire the next generation of players and fans. The challenge brief itself is top secret for now but… you’ll be asked to imagine you work for The FA and tackle the brief in teams of 5.

Don’t have a team? No problem! Book on by yourself or with a colleague and we will match you with a team on the night.

In keeping with the sporting theme, the Challenge will take place at 1920s pool bar. With drinks, nibbles and a chance to hit the pool tables, there will be plenty of time to socialise and network before and after the Challenge.

Our guest judges from The FA will then award a prize to the winning team. Do you have the skills, knowledge and innovative thinking to be crowned the victors and take home the inaugural Nicky Kennedy Prize?

This event will take place on Thursday 26th May from 6pm, at 1920s pool bar. If you would like to book on a team of 5, or as a smaller group please email melissa.coghlan@mrs.org.uk

If you would like to book on as an individual, please click the orange ‘book now’ button above. You will then be matched with a team on the night.

We look forward to seeing you at this exciting event – let the challenge commence!

This challenge is being held in memory of Nicky Kennedy, a brilliant young researcher, and much-loved member of the Kadence International team, who sadly passed away in 2020. We wanted to put on an event that reflected how vivacious and inquisitive Nicky was, and something that would inspire the next generation of researchers.
