Over the last two decades few management concepts have been so popular as Net Promoter Score, and it has become the most widely used customer mindset metric. At the same time there has been a stream of academic research raising questions over the effectiveness of NPS, particularly in relation to claims over sales growth. At the heart of NPS is a paradox: whilst there are ongoing concerns over the robustness of NPS as a method when compared to other research techniques, managers see huge value in NPS as an insight tool.

  • The keynote speaker is Sven Baehre, Director of Consumer Insights & Market Intelligence at Adidas and a leading expert on the use of NPS. He holds a PhD from the University of Limerick and has written several research papers in leading journals on NPS.
  • The event will be chaired by Dan Nunan, Editor in Chief of the International Journal of Market Research and a Professor at the University of Warwick.
