TheGeneral Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) requires the appointment of a DataProtection Officer (DPO) for many data intensive businesses. The DPO, who willadvise on compliance and act as a contact person for the data protectionauthority as well as data subjects, is a new requirement for the UK.

Failureto appoint can lead to fines as high as €10,000,000 or 2% of the company’sworldwide turnover, depending on which amount is higher.

TheGDPR comes into force on 25 May 2018 so now is the time to get ready.

The second speaker, Charlotte Vicary will draw on her own experience as a customer immersion specialist, andthose of her field recruitment partners, to explores this thorny issuewith her own examples of high drop out and low drop out. She’ll beraising questions for us all to debate. This will be an interactive session socome ready to discuss.
