Join this panel discussion exploring the challenges young girls face in developing leadership skills. Gain insights from leading research and contribute to strategies for bridging the gender divide.
The evidence is mounting that our girls and young women are feeling the pressures of the modern world and that the challenges they face are becoming more complex, with girls in the UK approaching adolescence with consistently lower confidence than boys. The Nursery has undertaken several pieces of research in the past year focusing on younger audiences, from understanding what it feels like to turn both 12 and 18 today to exploring the experiences and conversations around periods, and how these impact girls’ views of their bodies. The agency has also had the opportunity to work with organisations such as Girlguiding and agencies like Impero, who are focused on supporting and developing the confidence and leadership skills of girls.
