The International Journal of Market Research (IJMR), published by Sage in partnership with the MRS, is delighted to announce the appointment of two new Editors, Professor Leo Paas and Dr Arry Tanusondjaja. Both bring a wealth of international experience and subject expertise that will strengthen the journal’s leadership and its mission to publish rigorous, relevant, and practice-oriented research. They will support Professor Dan Nunan, Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Market Research.

Professor Leo Paas (University of Auckland Business School, New Zealand) is an internationally recognised scholar with a distinguished career across Europe and Australasia. After seven years working in industry, he held academic positions at Tilburg University and VU University Amsterdam in the Netherlands, before moving to New Zealand as Professor of Marketing at Massey University. He is now based at the University of Auckland Business School. His research interests include marketing analytics, segmentation, large language models, respondent attention in online surveys, entrepreneurship in Africa, and consumer responses to human advertising models.

Dr Arry Tanusondjaja (Ehrenberg-Bass Institute, Adelaide University, Australia) brings deep academic expertise combined with significant industry experience across Asia Pacific. He built his professional career in management roles within analytics and market research, and has strong links with the market research profession including as Chair of the South Australia Division of the Research Society. His research has focused on product portfolio management, consumer behaviour, and media.

Dr Arry Tanusondjaja added:
