MRS has announced that Nick Baker, UK CEO of Savanta, has been elected chair designate. He will transition to chair in a year when the current chair Phyllis Macfarlane’s term expires.

“I am really excited to work with Phyllis Macfarlane and the current MRS Board on some important programmes we have already set in train - continuing the fantastic work on inclusion, governance  and standards.

Also, the development of our broader agenda through the MRS Delphi Group  - exploring issues like bias - will be central to the work I will do in the role as chair. Of utmost importance will be ensuring we remain relevant as the preeminent voice of the industry in the UK.”
