Over 1,300 students have attended our free talks about the value of a career in market research, since October 2019. This is almost double the previous record numbers seen in 2018.

Presented in partnership with the Association for Qualitative Research (AQR), the 2019/20 season of Roadshows has already travelled far and wide, taking in institutions such as the University of Strathclyde, the University of Leeds, the University of Plymouth and Royal Holloway, University of London. This season has also seen the first visit to a higher education college, engaging with students at Edinburgh College.

With the help of a wonderful team of volunteers, these events look to raise the profile of the sector and bring research and insight to life, something that’s crucial in inspiring the next generation of researchers.

Our volunteers, of varied levels and backgrounds, come together to highlight what research involves and the value it adds to both business and society. They describe key research projects, from inception to delivery and results, as well as covering how they got a foot on the ladder, the opportunities for career progression and tips for getting ahead.

We are always on the lookout for both junior and senior research professionals to present at their local university. We’re particularly keen to hear from junior researchers outside of the London area.

We’d also love to hear from anyone that wants to book a session for at their university or higher education facility.
