MRS is launching a new website to showcase trusted research agencies who are accredited by MRS. The new website will be more than a digital directory, it will be a platform for cutting-edge sector insight through news features, webinars and most importantly accredited research suppliers, viewing facilities and support services.

Following the MRS mission statement 'Evidence Matters', the Research Buyer's Guide showcases research organisations that abide by the MRS Code of Conduct. These are agencies that have won awards and are striving for diversity in the workplace.

Why is MRS doing this?

This year MRS decided to retire the print copy of the Research Buyer’s Guide. There are many reasons why a 400-page directory isn’t appropriate in 2020: the climate crisis and radical changes in buyer behaviour being the most compelling.

This has been underlined by the annual 25% increase in web traffic to researchbuyersguide.com since 2017. Now attracting more than 2500 visits from buyers every month, MRS is keen to invest on this success and take the site to a new level so your business really feels the benefits.

MRS has worked hard to bring suppliers and buyers together, in direct response to the pressures that many of you are feeling now, and the challenging year to come. As well as quality and standards, clients are looking for suppliers that reflect their own values. That’s why MRS has rebuilt the RBG to showcase your commitment to excellence via your MRS Awards, and your focus on inclusion and sustainability.

The new website will include:

  • New sticky features that buyers need – guides and best practice to undertaking research, tools for creating and saving supplier lists, and blending this with news content from the MRS editorial team
  • A powerful supplier search tool to include the latest specialisms and more nuanced participant categories as well as filters to promote your MRS Awards and commitment to sustainability and inclusion.
I'm already listed - how will it improve my company page?

  • A slick and professional new look for your company profile pages will really allows your strengths to shine, making it a Google-optimised shop front that drives business leads straight to your inbox.

  • You can add your own news, videos and webinars which will get pumped around the website and increase traffic to your company page.

  • A new back-end system will allow you to easily and intuitively upload your content throughout the year, not just once a year in time for the print edition.

What do you need to do next?

  1. The process remains the same you will be sent an email from rbg@mrs.org.uk with renewal information. The email will include a link to access and review your company profile where you can make changes to incorporate the new features available. You will see your listing when the new website goes live in December.
  2. You will be invoiced automatically for the year once you hit submit entry, your listing will expire end of December 2021. You can then log in whenever you want to make further changes across the year.
  3. We have created more cost effective price bands for all our listed companies, bundling in as many benefits of the new website that your existing budget allows. Your listing has been automatically moved into the appropriate band but can be easily changed if it doesn’t suit you.
