Do you want to share best practice and demonstrate leadership in sustainability? If so, the MRS Sustainability Summit is the stage for you.

We know that organisations want to shout about the fantastic green initiatives they are implementing. And we want to hear how insight provides the foundations for strategic initiatives that drive the green agenda.

We have space to showcase 10 inspiring sessions that demonstrate how market research is being used to drive sustainability. In addition, we’ll share best practices from MRS members who have committed to the Net Zero Pledge and are taking positive, impactful steps to reduce their own carbon emissions whilst supporting and encouraging sustainability with partners and clients.

If you’d like to get involved please submit a paper for consideration. We’d like to address some of the areas below:

  • Building engagement with consumers
  • Closing the say-do gap in consumer-focused sustainability research
  • Supporting organisations to identify and communicate their sustainable brand purpose authentically
  • Examining the complex relationship between consumers’ views on sustainability and their purchasing behaviour
  • Applying behavioural science to environmental challenges
  • Driving long term behaviour change
  • Developing behaviourally informed interventions
  • Supporting organisations to measure and track progress against specific sustainability goals and objectives
  • Driving sustainable research practices across agencies, client organisations and MR supply chains – achieving net zero
  • Driving innovation in sustainable product design; shifting from user-centric design to design-for-life concepts

If you’d like to contribute to our 2022 event please send in a submission for a:

  • CASE STUDY (30mins) – showcase successful research projects, partnerships and changes in organisational strategy that are positively impacting sustainability
  • NO SLIDES PANEL SESSIONS (30mins) - Convene and lead a panel discussion addressing some of the tough research challenges associated with sustainability research such as closing the say-do gap, driving long term behaviour change, engaging harder to reach audiences, measuring and improving the impact of research.
  • IN CONVERSATION WITH… (30mins) - Lead a one-to-one interview style session which brings together an agency and client for a topical conversation about a recent sustainability research challenge.
  • THOUGHT PIECE (30 mins) – A visionary look into the net zero market research sector of the future.

A quick note on our selection criteria:

With just 10 sessions available we give priority to client-side presenters / co-presenters, new hot-off-the-press research and projects using pioneering research techniques.

MRS is committed to equal gender representation on the conference platform. MRS is also committed to achieving a target of a minimum of 15% of speakers to come from ethnically diverse backgrounds.
