This year’s MRS Client Conference, in association with Aura, will support client-side insight professionals to build the confidence to take on insight-plus roles and unleash the 'insight activist' within.

The Market Research Society

We'll examine the essential tools, skills and strategies necessary to increase influence across the business and drive greater activation and impact of insight. We'll also showcase practical examples of how insight teams are achieving more with less, in every way possible.

We're inviting insight practitioners from brands and organisations and expert advisors to contribute to this practical, outcome-focused day by sharing proven approaches, real-world case studies and actionable ideas that delegates can apply immediately.

More with less strategies

  • Repackaging and repurposing research
  • Accelerating insight delivery and reducing costs through new tools and platforms, without compromising evidence quality
  • Delivering greater impact from limited budgets
  • Collaborating across data and insight teams to reduce duplication and achieve cost efficiencies

Expanding the insight function’s mandate

  • Stretching into adjacent functions such as commercial strategy, customer experience, strategic financial planning
  • Scaling in-house insight capabilities
  • Enabling smaller insight teams to deliver greater organisational impact

If you have a recent research project that you’d like to showcase, or a conference session idea, please send in a submission, via our online form, for one of the following formats. All conference slots are 30 minutes.

Presentation or case study: Share a case study that demonstrates how you've increased the influence and impact of insight. Tell us how you've engaged stakeholders, embedded insight into decision-making or introduced new ways of working. What lessons can others learn from your experience?

No-slides panel session: If you’d like to put yourself forward to lead or participate on a panel, please propose a topic you think holds broad appeal to client-side research and insight professionals in a variety of sectors.

Networking or co-creation session: Propose a session to encourage informal knowledge-sharing and collaboration

In conversation with… Lead an interview style session with an internal customer, colleagues in adjacent functions or agency partners to discuss how a novel approach is boosting the impact of insights across your organisation.

A quick note on our selection criteria:

We give priority to:

  • Real examples, that include the ups and downs that others can learn from
  • Hot-off-the-press insights or pioneering approaches to driving influence and impact
  • New and diverse voices in the field
  • MRS company partners
