The backdrop for this year’s MRS Financial Services Research Conference is one of caution, with UK consumers exhibiting more considered spending as they continue to feel the pinch from rising prices and remain concerned about economic stability.

At this year’s MRS Financial Services Research Conference, we’re looking to uncover consumers’ current financial priorities, examine evolving behaviours within segments and explore attitudes towards savings, mortgages, pensions, credit and other core financial products.

We’re calling for standout market research case studies that showcase creative thinking and innovative methodologies and that offer new insights into the most pressing financial services topics of the moment. We also welcome proposals for though-provoking discussion themes that will generate meaningful debate and deliver valuable methodological takeaways for delegates.

Key topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

  • Improving customer experiences
  • Building trust, loyalty and confidence with financial consumers
  • Helping consumers navigate fraud, scams and financial promotions
  • Financial planning and building financial resilience
  • Addressing financial inclusion, financial vulnerability & low financial resilience
  • Testing the potential for integrating AI across financial services
  • Consumer attitudes towards AI uses in financial service
  • Fighting financial crime and educating consumers
  • Personalisation and financial services
  • Financial product rewards and incentives
  • Sustainable finance – eg green mortgages
  • Deferred payments and debt management

If you have new and exciting research to share, please send in a submission for a:

  • CASE STUDY (30mins) – Agency / client joint presentation of a recent research project. Please highlight the remarkable elements of your case study and the impact of the research.
  • NO SLIDES PANEL SESSIONS (30mins) - Convene and lead a panel discussion that will generate meaningful debate on a financial services research challenge that all delegates can relate to.
  • IN CONVERSATION WITH… (30mins) - Lead a one-to-one interview style session which brings together an agency and client to discuss how they’ve embedded insight within the organisation or tackled a specific research challenge using a fresh, innovative approach.
  • NETWORKING SESSION (30mins) Propose an interactive session to encourage informal knowledge-sharing and collaboration

A quick note on our selection criteria:

We give priority to:
