The MRS Delphi Group is now welcoming expressions of interest from across the research and insight sector from professionals interested in chairing the group as it helps shape and redefine the future of the sector.

Dr. Nick Baker, UK CEO of Savanta, has chaired the group since its inception four years ago. He has resigned from his role as he prepares to take on his new role as chair of MRS Main Board in March 2020. He said: "The Delphi Group has been a fantastic initiative from the MRS to galvinise the intellectual depth of the industry on significant issues facing us and the broader commercial and public sectors.

"The Delphi Group has become a primary voice for comment and perspective on issues as diverse as privacy and putting evidence at the core of an organisation’s decision making. It has been a pleasure and honour to serve as the chair of the Delphi Group since its inception and I will continue to support the incoming chair in my future new role as chair of the MRS board."

About the MRS Delphi Group

The MRS Delphi Group is a collection of the most respected thinkers in the marketing and research sectors, including Ipsos, Kantar TNS and Twitter.

The Group delivers valuable insight across a range of important business, social and political issues – from the contribution of research to UK PLC, the public and commercial perceptions of privacy, to the state of democracy in the UK.

The key purpose of the group is to deliver two to three publications per year which further the objective of developing a voice for the sector which transcends the sector itself and promotes the further relevance and position of the sector with government, charities and business.
