On Thursday 27 June the ADA Network will hold a two hour, evening symposium, exploring the latest innovations and applications in Advanced Analytics.

The ADA Network is supported by Bonamy Finch, an analytically-driven insights agency providing advanced analytics, data science and bespoke research solutions.

We have four 30 minute presentations slots (20 minutes for presentation, 10 minutes for discussion) and welcome papers that speak directly to our network’s aims.

For this event, we are keeping the theme very broad, and are interested in papers that demonstrate latest thinking and advances in applications of advanced analytics generally. This covers more traditional techniques and applications such as segmentation, forecasting and conjoint; but also covers a huge field of applications in predictive modelling; managing multiple data sources; and also managing, synthesising and analysing unstructured data:

In particular, we are looking for papers that provide the following:

  • Specific case studies of how the analytics have been used to drive real commercial change
  • Innovative methods, or innovative applications of existing methods, to solve client issues
  • Detailed learnings, recommendations and watch-outs when running specific analyses

The ADA Network audience is typically a mix of advanced analytics practitioners and those looking to learn more about the applications - therefore your submission will need to give enough detail on the substance of the analysis conducted, but also provide concrete examples of how the analysis was used.

In terms of what we’d like to receive,

  • Author(s)/Company or Affiliation
  • Paper title
  • Description of the analysis you conducted, and why it would be of interest to the ADAN audience (max 200 words).
  • Summary of data you will use to show the impact of this development
  • Overview of how it impacted the end client
  • Specific learnings when running this type of analysis
