MRS’s User Research Conference brings together the growing community of UX, user, and market researchers who drive user-centred design in digital, product, and service development.

This full-day conference will examine emerging trends and showcase innovative methodologies and standout case studies tailored to the evolving needs of those working at the intersection of research, product, and design. We’re also expanding opportunities for networking and peer-to-peer learning, with both structured and informal sessions to share ideas, spark connections, and foster collaboration.

We’re now inviting session proposals. If you have fresh insights, powerful case studies or innovative techniques to share, we want to hear from you. We welcome submissions on topics such as:

  • Qual & quant research methodologies for UX design
  • Non-digital experiential research (e.g. packaging, product testing)
  • User-centred design methodologies
  • UX in agile design environments
  • AI in user research
  • Accessibility and inclusive design
  • Capturing user stories in digital discovery
  • User research for emerging products and technologies
  • User research privacy and ethics
  • Cross-cultural UX research
  • User persona development
  • Design thinking in UX research
  • Data-driven design and analytics
  • Building and scaling an in-house UX research operations practice
  • Working collaboratively with product and design stakeholders
  • Leading ideation and co-production sessions

If you’d like to contribute to our 2025 event please send in a submission for a:

  • CASE STUDY (30mins) - Share your user research journey from research brief through to project outputs. Tell us something remarkable about your project which makes it stand out.
  • NO SLIDES PANEL SESSIONS (30mins) - Convene and lead a panel session discussing an emerging methodology or a challenging area of user research.
  • IN CONVERSATION WITH… (30mins) - Lead a one-to-one interview style session which brings together an agency and client to discuss a new user research project or a new approach that is being implemented.
  • NETWORKING SESSION (30mins) Propose an interactive session to encourage informal knowledge-sharing and collaboration

A quick note on our selection criteria:

We give priority to:

  • Client-side speakers or client–agency co-presenters
  • Hot-off-the-press insights or pioneering techniques
  • New and diverse voices in the field
  • MRS company partners

MRS is committed to equal gender representation on the conference platform and strives to achieve a minimum target of 15% of speakers from ethnically diverse backgrounds.
