The MRS team are on the road again in 2020, but this time virtually!

Given the world we now live and work in we wanted to update you on how we are supporting the sector and working with government so we’re bringing a Roadshow to each of the nations via Zoom.

There is a Roadshow webinar designed for Scotland, Northern Ireland, Wales and England. Each webinar will be tailored depending on Covid-19 restrictions in the different parts of the UK.

These events are a great way to find out what is planned for MRS and hear the latest advice research guidance – including our guidance on face to face research as well as working with vulnerable participants.

We may be virtual but as with previous Roadshow events, you will be able to ask the senior team here at MRS any questions!

The Roadshows will cover:

How Covid-19 is affecting the sector – We recently commissioned a survey of sector leaders on how lockdown is impacting research. Hear the results from over 170 leaders on the realities of expected business income and delivering research at this time.

Policy and Standards – Our Policy Team has been having weekly, often daily, calls with government on key areas affecting research. Find out about the latest guidance on face-to-face research, researching vulnerable groups and our FAQs. As well as how we’ve been lobbying the Chancellor on your behalf.

Membership and Training – We’ve moved all our training delivered online, offered payment holidays to affected Company Partners and Members, and enhanced our online content to ensure our members can continue with their CPD during this time.
