It’s been a brilliant year of super smart chat, inspiring ideas and relaxing catch ups with &more Book Club. Now, we’re rounding off the year on 30 November with our final book selection, Never split the difference: Negotiating as if your life depends on it by Chris Voss.

If you’ve never attended a session, we’d like to invite you to join us for our Christmas mingle – there will be book chat, but also the usual casual networking, drinks and nibbles with a festive theme!

The main aim of the &more Book Club is to give young researchers a space to meet, connect and discuss new ideas.  Remember – you don’t need to read the whole book (we know you’re busy). We’d still love to see you and hear your thoughts on the bits you did have time to read, or any articles, commentary, or vids on the book that you’ve seen.

So, grab yourself a copy and get reading (or head online and get scrolling), but don’t forget to click the orange ‘Book Now’ button to reserve your spot at the meet up.

Oh, and the first rule of Book Club is you CAN talk about Book Club. If you have colleagues that would like to join, please feel free to pass this info on and they can drop an email to melissa.coghlan@mrs.org.uk if they have any queries.

Come and celebrate 2023 with &more Book Club – we look forward to seeing you for cosy book chats, drinks and nibbles.

*Please note, this free event is for members of &more only. Each booking reserves one place for you only – it is not possible to do multiple bookings online. If you have colleagues who meet the &more criteria (under 30 or within the first 5 years of their research career) who are not yet &more members, they can join the network first here  and then book onto the event. If you have any queries, please email melissa.coghlan@mrs.org.uk
