Group training with in-session practice on measuring and reporting on the business impact of their recent work. Post-work to embed the learnt best practices, including an evaluation of their work over the last 6 months from a business impact perspective and creation of a “value to the business” statement.

Trainer Biography

Andrew Cannon brings more than 30 years of experience in the market research and insights industry, spanning roles on both the agency and client sides. For more than a decade, he has served as Executive Director of the Global Research Business Network (GRBN), the international federation representing the research and insights industry worldwide.

In this role, Andrew has led the Insights Business Impact initiative, building on foundational work by BCG, Cambiar, and Yale on Insights Function maturity. He spearheaded GRBN’s landmark research—conducted in partnership with BCG—on how Insights teams measure and report their business impact. Andrew has personally interviewed dozens of Insights leaders, authored two industry handbooks on Insights ROI and Business Impact.

Andrew is a sought-after trainer and facilitator, having delivered workshops globally that equip Insights professionals to measure, communicate, and elevate the strategic value they bring to the business.

Beyond the insights field, Andrew is the co-founder of EQJOY, a charity dedicated to tackling the children’s mental health crisis through the power of emotional intelligence. His work across sectors is united by a single mission: meaningful impact.
