Michael is Partner of Insight & Cross-Culture at UM, but started his career as a marketing graduate at American Express. After receiving his vocation to work in market research, he worked at two of the industry’s most innovative businesses, Research Now and MESH Experience. In his current role, he helps UM’s clients understand their audiences and marketplaces by leading the agency’s consumer insight department. After five years at UM, Michael has recently taken on the additional responsibility of leading the agency’s Better World vision, which is their strategy for ensuring the agency makes a positive impact on the world they operate in. Michael has a particular passion for using traditional research methods to give a platform to marginalised voices in society and for understanding the role and responsibility of ads in creating and tackling stereotypes. He is founder and chair of MRSpride, the market research sector’s LGBTQ+ network.

Sabrina Trinquetel is an award-winning market research professional and Account Manager at YouGov, where she partners with leading organisations to deliver strategic insight and drive commercial growth.

Alongside her commercial role, Sabrina is Co-Chair of MRS Pride and serves on both the MRS Voices4All (EDI) Council and the MRS AIA Council. Her work with the MRS is focused on advancing inclusive and responsible AI in market research, helping organisations embed fairness, transparency and inclusion into emerging technologies and research practices. She is the author of the MRS paper Systemic Inclusion by Design, which explores practical approaches to building more inclusive AI and research ecosystems.


Josephine is a Fellow of the Market Research Society and has spent most of her career focused on understanding Gen Z.

As part of the senior team at Savanta she leads it’s Next Gen practice. She was the Managing Director of YouthSight research until it was acquired and before that she spent nearly a decade at GfK.

Josephine is an active member of MRSpride, presenting the podcast OUTsights, and is passionate about making market research an industry where everyone can succeed.
Josephine is a regular on the international conference circuit, sharing her take on generational theory supported by Savanta’s unique State of the Youth Nation tracking data.

Daniel Cunil - Born in Barcelona, Daniel studied his degree between two different countries, giving him the chance to study in very international and diverse environments. Since the beginning of his career in research he has worked with new methodologies: First online, then mobile and later with all sorts of innovations. He likes learning about new technologies and data and especially loves helping clients integrate these into their current research techniques. He is Director of Market Research at Bilendi UK, a proud member of the MRSpride steering group and an MRS Mentor.

Chloë is an independent qualitative researcher. She does lots of work in the retail and hospitality sectors, as well health, beauty and food. Not just because she loves shopping and eating. She writes Queer novels in her spare time. She’s a proud Fellow of the MRS, is ex-Chair of the Association for Qualitative Research (AQR) and loves helping out with the MRSpride committee.

Jane is a Research Director in YouGov’s Public Sector & Not-for-Profit team. She leads on large-scale research programmes, supporting policy makers with accurate data and insights into what the world thinks. She specialises in accessible approaches and research with marginalised audiences to ensure all voices are heard when representing the public’s opinion.
