 Mike Orchard Bio

Having graduated in 1997 with a Philosophy degree from University of Greenwich, Mike joined Royal Mail and soon established a career in Sales and Marketing holding roles including Media Consultant and Partnership Director.

Since then, Mike has focused on growing his own Skills Hive business which leverages the emerging Gig Economy to deliver marketing and technology projects for scaling companies.

He has designed and delivered academic modules for University of Greenwich, University of West of Scotland and Loughborough Uni as well as more recently designing and delivering modules for the highly rated Masters in Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Warwick University.

Having completed the Blockchain Strategy Programme at Said Business School, Oxford University in the summer of 2022, Mike has been focusing on leveraging the latest technologies to deliver compelling community experiences, both within Skills Hive and his latest appointment as Head of Product and Community for FreelanceHUB.

Matt Housden Bio

Matthew is a director of Face Value Consulting and an experienced and successful consultant and trainer of marketing personnel and has worked with companies such as ABInbev, Aviva, Barclays, Barclaycard, Cadbury, Carlsberg, Cisco, DAC Beachcroft, Deloitte, DHL, FedEx, Fiat, Ferrero, IBM, ISG, International Multi foods, Kraft, Microsoft, Nichirei, Tarmac, The London Business School, Royal Mail, Serco, Swiss Reinsurance and Wella.  

He is a full certified member of the Market Research Society and a member of ESOMAR and the CIM

He is principal lecturer in the marketing group at the University of Greenwich, and a visiting professor at the Grenoble Graduate School of Business. He has been a visiting professor at Hult Ashridge International Business School and visiting faculty at the University of Leeds Business School and Imperial College London.

In 2015 Matthew was appointed as a trustee of the DM trust. The trust aims to raise standards in the data driven and digital marketing industry through sponsoring academic research into responsible and effective data driven marketing alongside initiatives to promote skills development, equality, inclusion and diversity in the sector. In 2017 he was appointed as chair of the trust.
