So you’ve decided to take the next step in formally recognising your expertise and skills. Membership gives you access to a huge range of professional support to grow your career and success.

Our membership application process is designed to guide you smoothly through the appropriate pathway, whether you are applying online for the Member (MMRS) grade or progressing through one of the 10 routes to Certified Member (CMRS) status.

Special Membership offer for Annual Conference 2026

To celebrate our Annual Conference this week, we have a special Membership offer. If you sign up as a Member before midnight on Friday 13 March we will waive the usual joining fee of £46.

How to apply for Member grade (MMRS):

To join as a Member, simply complete the online application (our quickest route) or download the Member Application Form and return this to us. 

To apply for Certified (CMRS) membership you can:

• Complete the Certified Member Application Form
• Request a copy be sent to you by contacting the Membership Team on  membership@mrs.org.uk or +44 (0)20 7566 1820.
• Already a member and want to upgrade? Find out more about how you can progress to Certified Member.
