About the paper 

In September 2016, the MRS Delphi Group will publish a paper entitled ‘The Curious Computer: Can technology replace the curious mind?’  which will bring all these contributions together alongside a core paper written by Colin Strong, MD of Verve Ventures. Colin is also a member of the Group.

Questions, questions, questions. Market research has always been about questions; both asking people questions to elicit information and answering business questions for clients. The key questions for market research have always been "what?", "why?" and "so what?" What do people do? What will they do in the future? Why do they do it? By understanding the what and the why of human behaviour, good market research is able to answer the question that matters most to businesses; "so what should I do?"
